In this picture you can see one of my infamous tricks if the birthday baby isn’t digging eating the cake. But in this picture it’s more than a trick, it’s a beautiful little girl that I have had the honor of photographing since her newborn photography session a year ago! I can’t believe how fast this year has passed!

 

This birthday girl came to the studio in Holly Springs, NC  on a weekday morning. Unfortunately her loving daddy couldn’t make the session, but we decided to Facetime the session with him. We had to mute him so she wouldn’t be distracted by him and he muted us because he was working. We also got the GoPro out and recorded it too. I am in the process of figuring out how to get that figured out.

I just love the series of these photos. Her faces crack me up!

 There were tons of great shots from this cake smash.. It’s hard not only for mommy and daddy to narrow it down but for me to pick which ones make it on the blog. But it’s something I had to do.. Here is a sneak peek from her cake smash session!
