Brooks had an adorable simple boy cake smash theme. True to my style, I believe less is more when it comes to cake smash sessions. This is just one example.
With a simple set up, we were able focus on him and all of his cuteness, his smile, his brown hair, and his chubby baby rolls. I mean check them out!
I mean, don’t we all secretly wish that we could shove our face with cake and let our belly hang out all over?
Its super hard to believe that this little man is already turning one. It seems like a couple months ago I was at his house wrapping him up and working on his newborn session.
When I was skimming through his newborn session I found this adorable photo of his feet. Which is kind of funny because I got a photo of his feet again during the cake smash session. Check out this before and after..
Aren’t baby feet so stinkin’ cute? All cute but no “stink”… yet! Hahaha! If you would like to check out more from his newborn session, you can catch that blog post HERE.
When he arrived for his cake smash he was just a little sleepy from snoozing on his way here, but once he got to the studio here in Holly Springs, he was wide awake and ready to watch me closer. But once he started to get into the cake he let his guard down and let the sugar into his system.
We played some music and he got to business. I loved watching his transition to apprehensive about what was happening to having fun. It was fun to watch, and you can watch too because we recoded the cake smash and uploaded it to Facebook. You can watch the video HERE.
As you can see this simple boy cake smash really allowed us to capture his personality, and it kept him engaged in the process.
If you have a little one turning one, or know someone who does have a little one getting ready to celebrate thietheirr first birthday, you can book your own cake smash session HERE.
