Holly Springs NC 1st Birthday Photographer | Cake Smash with Siblings
This is just one of the many reasons why I love my job so much! The first time I ever met these three kiddos was when this sweet little girl was born for her newborn session. They were such sweet little boys and I could already tell what fun and protective big brothers they were going to be. I could also see how she just may have them wrapped around that precious little pinky of hers.
Just like most first birthday collections, we started the session and an outdoor location so that these kids could really be themselves and I could capture their personalities. I knew from working with the boys before they were so active and full of personality. So I picked a location where they could run, laugh and play… And get pictures with their little sister of course. We opted for a cute location in Holly Springs where they were open fields tree lines and plenty of room to roam and run.
While the boys ran and played we spent some tender moments with her little sister to capture her personality for her first birthday. She was just so cute and so sweet all while being full with smiles. This red chair was perfect for her adorable southern charm outfit. And to be honest, we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Here in North Carolina, we never know if March is going to bring us temperatures in the 30’s or temperatures in the 80’s. This day was perfect and in the 70’s.
After this fun filled adventure outdoors, we headed to the T&T Photography studio, proudly located close by here in Holly Springs.
Mommy and I worked closely to come up with a unique color scheme and set up for this fun cake smash. Mom purchased a cute lace romper, immediately I knew we should go with pink and pearls! Not only was this precious little girl wearing a string of pearls, but there were little pearl toppings on her cake in the center of the pink roses.
At first she was a little bit unsure about the cake. It only took her a couple of seconds to realize how delicious it was going to be at how much fun she was going to have. To be honest, she did a stellar job smashing up that cake by herself, and then we called and her big brothers to help with the rest. I had so much fun working this family again and hope to watch these children grow up.
A special thank you to the Markham family for allowing me to capture the special milestones in her life.
Please take a moment enjoy a quick peek of the remaining portion of the cake smash. You are going to love them!!!!!!
