I have to admit, when I turned 16 there was no such thing as a “Sweet 16” birthday party. After photographing these beautiful young ladies DOUBLE Sweet 16 party I wish that I had one!! (Don’t you just love the lipstick on her face from a big smooch right before this picture was taken).

The theme was so fun, it was a red carpet Hollywood theme.

Being that there were TWO sweet 16 birthday girls there had to be TWO birthday cakes! Mia, being an added make up lover, had the cutest cake and make up theme.

These young women, and some young men looked stunning and beautiful gowns and dresses, perfect hair, makeup fit for superstars and adorable shoes!! Seriously, some of the shoes and dresses were amazing!!

I think even more importantly, these girls had an amazing time together. They were filled with lots of laughs, love and complements and love for one another something… that is pretty scarce this day and age with teens. It was heartwarming.

Each and every single one of these girls were always ready to strike a pose, whether was outside on the porch, on the dance floor, or in front of the cute mural that hung.
