I am beyond blessed to be able to work with couples that turn into families. I first worked with this mom and dad on their beautiful wedding day in downtown Raleigh. I have since worked with them for their GENDER REVEAL session, maternity session for baby #1 and now a maternity session for baby #2.

Being blessed to be by there to document a family, from the wedding day to the birthday day of baby #2, its a gift I keep close to my heart.

This family is just so loving and caring to one another. During this maternity session on the Holly Springs Greenway, it was close to 100 degrees. The air was completely stagnant. We knew we had to shoot the session kinda fast so that everyone wasn’t dripping of sweat and beet red in the face. There were plenty of pesky knats and here were some mosquitos biting that hurried us along. But I could spend an entire evening with them. I love the way that they all look at each other… particularly the way Peyton and her daddy look at each other. It really is so sweet.

And let me tell you how excited this sweet little girl was to be waiting on a little brother, so she could take the glory of being a big sister. But this isn’t just a big sister thing… this is a family thing. They will all have a hand in taking wonderful care of and making this new baby boy feel so very loved. It really is an “all hands on deck” kind of love.

I look forward to meeting this little guy and seeing how much more love this family has as they continue to write their story.
