Raleigh Family Photographer | Raleigh, NC | WRAL Gardens

It was a gorgeous day for a family portrait session in Raleigh this afternoon. This session was even more special as it was for a six-month baby photography session. The first time I photographed the family is the when they were expecting this gorgeous little boy. And the last time I saw them was six months ago when I photographed his newborn photography session. Needless to say I was so surprised, when this mommy contacted me to tell me that it was time for his six-month photos.

Selecting a location that was outdoors was important for this family portrait session. The great news is that the WRAL Gardens in Raleigh is a beautiful spot for these family sessions. With plush green grass, beautiful flowerbeds, and a gorgeous fountain… It is so unique and can really fit any family.

The great news is that the weather has been perfect the past few days with no rain, so it made the ground dry and comfortable to be photographing on. Even this little guy didn’t mind. We could not have ordered better weather.

One of the biggest gifts that I have as a professional photographer is being blessed for last used children grow, especially during the first year of their lives. I have been watching his mommy and daddy post pictures on Facebook and saw how big and chunky his cheeks were… I had to see it for myself and was just tickled to finally see them in person!!

There were so many cute photos that I really struggled to pick just a couple to share on this sneak peek. I can’t wait to share more from this beautiful family… As well as scheduling his first birthday and cake smash photos coming up in October!! EEEKKKKK!!! I’m so so excited to start planning that session with this mommy!
