January is a very busy month for newborn photography sessions in the T&T Photography studio in Holly Springs, NC. This sweet little girl was so sleepy for her session. Although at the very beginning of her newborn session I was wondering how much she would actually sleep because she was WIDE awake with no sign of sleep in sight. The she gave us a huge yawn letting us all know that she was on the brink of losing her energy.

I love working with 1st time parents for these newborn photography sessions. There is so much love and so much amazement they are in the process of experiencing. You can just feel the love and excitement. Whether it’s their first family picture, first mommy and me photo and the special photo between a new daddy and his daughter… It’s truly magical. Regardless of the lack of sleep everyone has had in the past few days and sometimes even weeks.

I felt so bad for these expecting parents, as the rain kept us from being able to capture their maternity photography session. But this princess allowed us to make up for it by sleeping through her newborn session allowing us to wrap her and change her “decor” so many times. In fact, she may have broke a T&T Photography record for headband and wrap changes. She looked amazing in both soft light tones and the bright and bold colors. She had plenty of silky, dark hair that really held the newborn headbands in place. Her hair was just so so pretty! Daddy is going to have a task on his hands keeping any and all boys away! And if her skin now is any indication to the future, she is one lucky lady!
I was also able to use so many of my brand new newborn hats and bonnets on her as she allowed me to play with her like a little doll. She looks beautiful in any color! Here is a little more of a sneak peek from her newborn photography session. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
