Welcome! I am thrilled that you are ready to book your session. As a photographer in Raleigh, it’s such joy to work with families right here in the Triangle. I work with family from Durham, Cary, Holly Springs, Wake Forest, Raleigh, Apex, Fuquay Varina, Clayton, Garner and other surrounding towns.

All availability through 2022 has been updated. Availability has been updated for headshots as well as family portraits, AND cake smashes. The hope by having my schedule open so early in the year is, you are able to plan ahead easier… or squeeze a session in on shorter notice for example headshots.

As you will see, when you click on the booking links, you will see limited availability. Many of my clients book me 6-10 months out, so I book up quickly. It’s always better to be safe than sorry. It breaks my heart to have to turn people away.
After you book your session through the link, you will received a contract within 3 business days. You will get this via email. Once you open it. You will be able to sign it online and make a deposit towards your session. You have 3 business days to sign that contract AND make your deposit. Failure to sign your contract and make your deposit within those three days will result in a forfeit your session and it will be available for others to book.

Family Mini Session – $279+nc sales tax
Includes a pre session consultation, a 20 minute photography session with up to 6 immediate family members (pets and grandparents are considered immediate family here 😊 ), an online viewing gallery for you to select up to 8 of your favorite images, edited in hi resolution format. Additional images can be purchased for $20 each or packs of 10 additional images for an additional $150.
Signature Family Collection – $429 +nc sales tax
Includes a pre session consultation, a 45 minute photography session with up to 6 immediate family members (pets and grandparents are considered immediate family here 😊 ), an online viewing gallery for you to select up to 20 of your favorite images, edited in hi resolution format. Additional images can be purchased for $20 each or packs of 10 additional images for an additional $150.

Are you looking to book a first birthday, cake smash or cake splash?
Here are some pointers for booking. If you are planning a first birthday party and are hopeful to have some photos in display for it? I encourage you to book your session at least 2 weeks prior to the party to ensure we have plenty of time for the turnaround. All Cake Smash sessions are booked for mornings between the hours of 9am-12pm. The remain on a floating schedule to accommodate your little ones changing sleep patterns. If you are booking a 1st Birthday Collection (mini session and or cake smash/cake splash) you must book the Cake Smash and a family session separately. These sessions are on different days, or at least at different times, to ensure the best possible scenarios. Booking a Cake Splash? Book the Cake Smash and on the booking form you will be asked if it is a Cake Smash or Cake Splash.

This collection can also be ideal if you have a long list of shots you would like to get, have anyone who may need a little extra time to warm up to the camera, a little one with “stranger danger”, have more than two children under the age of 5, or just want the extra time and photos. Are you looking to book your fall family portrait session?
Here are some things to remember. With daylight savings and peak foliage being only 2-3 weeks, there are limited spots available. No, this isn’t a sales gimmick, I have booked all sessions for the last 4 years and unfortunately had to turn some of my favorite clients away. 😔 Peak foliage is typically the first 3 weeks in November. In 2020, daylight saving ends on November 1st.
Booking in late September through late October can help reduce your stress, allow you and your family to not have to be subjected to the sometimes very chilly temps we get in November, gives you more time to order gifts/ holiday cards and is quite comfortable for most children, especially after a hot summer.
Just as a couple of reminders, peak foliage is typically Nov 5-20th(ish). The weather can vary as can leaves on the trees. The last 3 years, I have been able to continue with foliage photos through the first couple of days in December. However, if we get a storm with high winds after the leaves have turned, many times the leaves fall. Booking earlier will allow more time to reschedule due to weather or illness. For best lighting is late afternoon.
