It is so very hard to believe that Hollis has turned one! And how much she has grown since her family session in December  is mind blowing! One thing that hasn’t changed this past year is her signature smile that beams. He mommy dressed her in a beautiful yellow lace romper with accents of navy in the matching headband. She looked like and resembled that sweet sunshine.

The yellow on her was just so perfect! Especially with all of the greenery! She has the most beautiful, pure and perfect skin!

You could feel the love that mommy and daddy had for this first birthday girl!

It was so fun to see her loving, gentile, sweet and charming big brother, Porter for the photography session as well. We had their session at Sugg Farm in Holly Springs NC, the same place we had Porter’s first birthday session. He was so sweet in calling me “Miss Tonya” and always smiling when I asked him to. He was such  trooper, especially  considering the heat and humidity we were all experiencing. The heat wave here in the Raleigh area has been rough. You can’t tell that by seeing Porter pose for a few photos during the family photography portion of the session!

Hollis wasn’t too sure of the cake smash portion of her first birthday portraits. At first she seemed at least intrigued…well sort of.  She wasn’t sure if she was suppose to eat her smash cake. Then she wasn’t sure if she was supposed to eat with her cute face first or use her hands. Maybe she didn’t want to mess up the overall beauty of the cake. I can assure you that her big brother was in a hurry to help her eat that cake. After a while she ate some and started to really make a mess. At the end, we were able to save enough that her big brother Porter could enjoy some cake… And he enjoyed even more because she left a lot for him to eat!
